Jacqueline Galluzzo

Jacqueline Galluzzo joined the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in 2000 as Associate Principal Second Violin. Ms. Galluzzo was introduced to the violin through her Connecticut public school music program and continued her studies at the Juilliard School Pre-College. She received a scholarship to study with Boston Symphony Concertmaster Malcolm Lowe at New England Conservatory where she received her bachelor of music degree. Ms. Galluzzo toured internationally during her three years as a member of the New World Symphony, as well as touring as a member of the New World Symphony Chamber Players. She has performed both orchestral and chamber music as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Germany and the Spoleto Festival in Italy. In addition to numerous solo recitals, Ms. Galluzzo has appeared as soloist with the Hartford Symphony, the Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra, and the Buffalo Philharmonic. Ms. Galluzzo actively performs as a member of the Clara String Quartet, the Chamber Music On Elmwood Festival, the Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra, and is a faculty member of the BRAVO International Music Workshop.
