We had a wonderful performance yesterday of the Mozart Requiem with the amazingly talented choirs of St. Paul’s Cathedral, under the direction of Choirmaster Jonathan Scarozza. Our musicians were all very impressed with the high level and musicianship of the choir, especially the many young choristers in the group. It was delightful to work with them and we certainly hope to do so again in the future.
The concert was at St. Louis RC Church at the corner of Main and Edward. Beautiful church! If architecture is your thing, definitely stop by and enjoy the space.
Both the choir and the ensemble were up in the choir loft, as you can see below. Space was tight but the music made it all worth it.
